This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Faja de la Pardina. The trail is 12.916 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 681 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Aparcamiento Hotel Palazio parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. About midway through the hike, you will come across the Ermita de Santa María, a charming attraction with historical significance.
For those in need of a break, the Refugio de Cuello Arenas shelter is located 5.86 kilometers into the hike, providing a place to rest and refuel before continuing on. Information points like Cuello Arenas - Mondoto can be found along the trail, offering insights into the surrounding area.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the Fuente de la Sarteneta spring for a refreshing drink of water. The trail also passes by the Fuente spring, located 1.37 kilometers into the hike.
