This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Irusta. The trail is 2.687 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 69 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration of the hike is around 47 minutes and 40 seconds.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.76 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Elordi picnic site, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Further along the trail, at 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Igertu picnic site, another great place to rest and soak in the scenery.
Continuing on, at 1.34 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Irusta / Arnotegi Beheko picnic site, offering another opportunity to relax and refuel before heading back. Additionally, there is a shelter located off the trail at the same distance, providing a safe haven in case of unexpected weather changes.
As you approach the turnaround point of the hike, at 1.34 kilometers from the start, you will find the Irusta peak, a natural highlight offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Lastly, at the same distance, there are information points to learn more about the history and wildlife of the area.
