This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 7.089 kilometers and an elevation gain of 663 meters, making it a difficult hike. The estimated duration for this trek is around 3 hours and 17 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue, you will come across a wayside shrine located just 60 meters into the hike. Another wayside shrine is situated approximately 220 meters from the start of the trail.
Around 1.67 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Fontana Curnà, a natural spring where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, you will reach another spring at 2.01 kilometers into the hike.
As you trek further, you will pass by several historic wayside shrines, each offering a glimpse into the area's past. Keep an eye out for the Pilone del Merlo shrine, located at 1.61 kilometers from the start.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Rocca Rubat at 3.54 kilometers from the trailhead. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across informational signs that provide insights into the local flora, fauna, and history of the area.
