Welcome to Via Alpina - Challand-Saint-Victor hiking route! This 20.6 km out-and-back trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Torre Di Bonot, a historic castle and attraction, located 2.86 km from the start of the trail. Further along, at 10.3 km into the hike, you will find a water feature that offers a refreshing stop. Additionally, there are drinking water stations and wayside shrines along the way to provide you with necessary amenities.
The trail is extremely difficult with an elevation gain of 1166 meters, so be prepared for a challenging hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter parking areas for those arriving by car, as well as benches and information points. A restaurant, Locanda Ai Ponti Romani, is available for a meal break at the beginning of the trail.
At the end of the trail, you will reach the parking area 1.47 km away from the trail endpoint. This route offers a rewarding and scenic hiking experience for those looking for a challenging adventure in the great outdoors.
