Welcome to Mühlenrundweg, a challenging 8.035-kilometer circular hiking route that will take you through stunning natural scenery and historical landmarks.

Starting at the designated parking area, you will begin your journey surrounded by lush greenery. As you embark on the trail, you will come across the Herzerl Bucht picnic site, perfect for a rest stop and enjoying a meal amidst nature, about 1.05 kilometers into the hike.

Continuing along the path, you will encounter the Winnerfall and Schwarzenbachfall viewpoints, offering breathtaking views of cascading waterfalls at 2.1 and 1.67 kilometers from the beginning, respectively. These viewpoints provide ideal spots for capturing memorable moments or simply taking in the beauty of the landscape.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.5 kilometers from the start, you will find the Alte Mühle picnic site, a great place to relax and refuel. As you trek onwards, you will pass by the Salzbergblick information point at 2.19 kilometers, providing insights into the area's history and geography.

Be sure to take a moment to visit Maria Vorderleitner memorial and the wayside cross, located at 0.77 kilometers from the start, to pay homage to the region's heritage. Additionally, keep an eye out for benches scattered throughout the route, offering opportunities to rest and take in the serene surroundings.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to pack essentials such as water, snacks, and appropriate footwear. Given the trail's difficulty level and 386 meters of elevation gain, it is advisable to be prepared for a strenuous yet rewarding adventure.
