This extremely difficult 11.012-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Jalovec. Known for its challenging terrain and breathtaking views, this hike is not for the faint-hearted.
Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as you embark on this almost 7-hour journey. The trail will lead you through diverse landscapes, including peaks, saddles, and information points along the way.
About 5.36 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point providing insight into the area's history and geology. Take a moment to rest and refuel before continuing on towards Veliki Ozebnik, a peak located approximately 4.49 kilometers from the start.
As you push your limits and conquer the elevation gain of 1755 meters, you will reach Jalovško sedelce at around 4.77 kilometers from the beginning. This saddle offers a perfect spot to admire the surrounding beauty and catch your breath before pushing onward.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Jalovec, a peak located about 5.43 kilometers from the start. Standing tall and proud, Jalovec provides a sense of accomplishment as you take in the panoramic views from its summit.
