This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with diverse points of interest. The trail is 6.952 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 497 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

Starting at the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by a saddle at 2.81 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 3.48 kilometers from the start, you will reach the viewpoint called "Ακώλυτα," offering stunning panoramic views.

Although not directly on the trail, you may also encounter the historic cave entrance known as "Σπήλαιο Ιδαίον Άντρον" at 0.0 kilometers from the start and another cave entrance of the same name at 0.0 kilometers. These can be interesting detours if you have the time and energy.
