Welcome to the hiking route "Qafa Thores - Blue Eye" in Shalë! This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 9.402 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1054 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for hikers.
The trail starts at a parking area located at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across the Bujtina "Blue Eye Kaprre", an alpine hut just 1.06 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.
Continuing on, at 1.14 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the stunning Syri i Kaltër, a blue eye water feature that is a must-see along the trail. Nearby, you'll also find the Restorant "Blue Eye" where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing your hike.
Further along the trail, at 2.54 kilometers from the start, you'll spot the Fink KGJ drinking water station to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. As you approach the midway point at 3.56 kilometers, you'll encounter the Nuc Lulash memorial, adding a touch of historical significance to your hike.
Pushing on, at 4.7 kilometers from the start, you'll find a peak with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to pause and take in the beauty of the area.
Near the end of the trail, at 1.14 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Blue Eye waterfall, a mesmerizing natural wonder that is sure to impress.
