Welcome to the Oude Maaspad hiking route!
This 2.13-kilometer easy hike takes you through the beautiful natural surroundings of Rhoon. The trail is relatively flat with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Rhoonse Jachthaven, a picturesque marina located just 110 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to enjoy the views of the water and maybe even spot some boats sailing by.
Heading further along the path, at around 1.07 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another water feature, offering a peaceful and serene setting for a break.
Along the way, you will also pass by various amenities such as benches for resting, as well as parking areas for your convenience. Make sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water for your hike, as there are limited services along the trail.
At the turnaround point, you will find the TOP Rhoonse Grienden, an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history before heading back along the same route.
