Starting off at the parking area near the trailhead, you'll follow the trail until you reach the archaeological site of Area archeologica Montereggi, located approximately 1.28 kilometers from the start. Here, you can explore the ruins of the Etruscan settlement of Montereggi, which date back to ancient times.

Continuing along the trail, you'll come across the peak of Poggio Montereggi, situated at the same distance as the Etruscan ruins. This vantage point offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, providing a great photo opportunity.

If you need to refill your water supply, there is a drinking water fountain named Fontanello di Capraia e Limite located near the start of the trail. Additionally, if you're feeling hungry after your hike, you can visit the restaurant called Lowengrube, which is around 0.37 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
