This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Kraxentrager - La Gerla peak. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 16.964 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1524 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Gasthof Neuwirt, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure. Further along the trail, at a distance of 6.89 kilometers from the start, you will reach Friedrichshöhe peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at 8.33 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Kraxentrager - La Gerla peak, a natural wonder worth exploring. Be sure to stop by Europahütte - Rifugio Europa at 6.89 kilometers from the start, an alpine hut offering accommodation and a place to rest.
