This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Saechsische Schweiz, known for its stunning landscapes and rock formations. The trail is 4.046 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 220 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area with wheelchair access followed by an information point named Infopunkt Schmilka. As you continue, you will come across a fast food eatery and a water source for your convenience.
About midway through the hike, you will reach Zwieselhütte, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views. Further along, you will encounter various climbing peaks such as Böser Turm, Feldschmiede, and Großer Gratturm, which are off-trail but offer challenging experiences for climbers.
Towards the end of the trail, you will find the destination point, Lehnkuppel, a peak that offers panoramic views of the area. On your way back, don't forget to stop by the picnic site and benches for a rest.
