This hike will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Urvieh. The trail is 3.939 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 220 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration of the hike is 1 hour and 27 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across some points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area with wheelchair access. Further along, there is an information point called Infopunkt Schmilka where you can learn more about the area.
Around the 0.4 kilometer mark, you will pass by a fast-food spot and a spring called Ilmenquelle. As you continue, you will reach a picnic site and a café called Fuhrmann's Elb-Cafe. It's a good idea to stop here and grab a refreshment before continuing your hike.
Around the 1.26 kilometer mark, you will encounter Zwieselhütte, a shelter where you can take a break and rest. Nearby, there are several peaks and climbing spots such as Böser Turm, Feldschmiede, Großer Gratturm, and more. These spots offer a great opportunity for climbing enthusiasts to test their skills.
