At the beginning of the trail, you will find convenient parking facilities with wheelchair access. As you continue, you'll pass by the Infopunkt Schmilka, where you can learn more about the area before reaching the Zwieselhütte shelter approximately 1.26 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, at about 2.43 kilometers in, you'll encounter the Böser Turm and the Feldschmiede peaks, perfect for climbers looking to test their skills. Be sure to also keep an eye out for other notable peaks like the Heringsgrundturm and the Lolaturm along the way.
For those in need of a rest, picnic sites and benches are conveniently located at various points on the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water supply at the natural spring, Ilmenquelle, around the 0.4-kilometer mark.
As you near the end of the trail, you'll reach the Boofe am Sprunghorn shelter, providing a cozy spot to relax and take in the scenic surroundings.
