This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area around Abendturm, offering stunning views and a varied terrain to explore. The trail covers a distance of approximately 6.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 426 meters, making it of moderate difficulty level.

As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area for your convenience. Around the 0.4-kilometer mark, you'll find the Infopunkt Schmilka, a great place to gather information about the area. Further along, at about 0.25 kilometers, there is a water source to replenish your supplies.

As you continue your journey, you'll pass by the Zwieselhütte shelter around 1.26 kilometers into the hike. The route also takes you past several peaks and climbing spots such as Böser Turm, Feldschmiede, and Großer Gratturm. These points provide excellent opportunities for rock climbing enthusiasts to test their skills.

Along the way, you'll also encounter cozy picnic spots, benches, and information points providing insights into the local flora and fauna.
