Welcome to the hiking route on the Unterer Terrassenweg trail! This moderate 5.1 km out-and-back trail offers 292 meters of elevation gain, taking approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll find parking facilities nearby for your convenience. As you begin your journey, be sure to stop by the Infopunkt Schmilka, where you can gather information about the area. Within the first kilometer, you'll also come across a fast food stop for a quick bite and a water source to refill your supplies.

Around the 2.5 km mark, you'll reach the Mittlerer Bussardturm, offering a great climbing opportunity. Further along the trail, at 1.2 km, you'll find the Zwieselhütte shelter for a rest break. As you continue, take a moment to enjoy the viewpoints at Frühstücksplatz and various benches along the way.

At the turnaround point, the trail offers a waterfall at 2.5 km and the Ilmenquelle spring at 4.0 km. Nearby, you can also explore peaks like Flüchtling and Windspitze.
