Located in a picturesque area, the Holzlagerplatzweg hiking route offers a super easy trek for nature enthusiasts. With a total distance of 1.801 kilometers and an elevation gain of 69 meters, this circular route can be completed in approximately 35 minutes.

Starting off the hike, you will come across a serene water body just 0.05 kilometers from the trail. As you continue, you will find convenient parking areas at the beginning of the route, ensuring a hassle-free start to your adventure. Along the way, there are various benches strategically placed for hikers to rest and enjoy the surrounding views.

Around midway through the hike, at 0.67 kilometers from the start, you will find the Kleine Bastei viewpoint offering panoramic views of the area. Additionally, there are informative signboards and picnic sites at this point for a relaxing break.

As you near the end of the trail, you will encounter Fuhrmann's Elb-Cafe, a cozy cafe perfect for a post-hike treat. Before finishing the loop, make sure to visit the Gasthof zur Mühle restaurant for a satisfying meal.
