This hiking route will take you to the stunning Dent du Villard in the beautiful area of Lac de La Rosière. The trail is 8.272 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 713 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 41 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across some important points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area near Lac de La Rosière, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you may encounter a shelter for a quick rest stop, as well as a drinking water station to refill your water bottle.

Further along the trail, you will reach a picturesque picnic site named "Aire de pique nique" where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks while admiring the surrounding nature. Just a short distance away, you will find 5 barbecues if you wish to have a barbecue lunch during your hike.

As you continue your ascent towards Dent du Villard, you will pass by an information point at Col de la Chal, where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings. Finally, at a distance of 4.14 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Dent du Villard, offering breathtaking panoramic views as a rewarding end to your hike.
