The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.723 kilometers and an elevation gain of 70 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Near the beginning of the trail, you will find a restaurant just a short distance away, allowing you to fuel up before embarking on your adventure. Further along, there are shelter facilities where you can take a break and rest if needed.

Midway through the hike, you will come across a picturesque parking area near Lac de La Rosière, offering a convenient spot to leave your vehicle. As you continue, you will encounter drinking water stations to keep you hydrated throughout the hike.

For a scenic break, a picnic site and five barbecues are located nearby, perfect for enjoying a meal amidst the natural beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, Point d'Eau offers another drinking water station for your convenience.

Towards the latter part of the hike, you will reach the stunning Cascade des Poux waterfall, a highlight of the trail. Take some time to admire the cascade before heading back towards the trailhead.
