As you continue your hike, you'll encounter the Ilsestein rock formation and memorial about 1.89 kilometers into the trail. This point of interest offers a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape and is a great spot to take in the views. Nearby, you'll find the Raststätte Ilsestein cafe for a quick break and some sustenance.
For those interested in history, the trail also passes by remains of the Stützmauer ehem. Burg Ilsestein archaeological site, providing a glimpse into the area's past. Further along the trail, you'll reach the Aussichtspunkt Paternosterklippe viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
