This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and interesting landmarks. The total distance of the route is 6.07 kilometers with an elevation gain of 308 meters, making it a moderate level hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete.
You will start your journey in a picturesque setting and make your way towards the Lichtenhainer Wasserfall, a wheelchair-accessible restaurant located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by the Pavillon, an attraction located midway through the hike.
Along the trail, you will come across several climbing peaks such as the Nördlicher Gleitmannsturm, Rübezahlturm, Südlicher Gleitmannsturm, and more. These peaks offer a challenge for climbing enthusiasts and provide a great opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.
At around the halfway point, you will reach the Wildensteinwand and Wildspitze peaks, offering a scenic spot to take a break and soak in the beauty of the landscape. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Wappen peak and the Zyklopenmauer, adding to the variety of natural landmarks on this hike.
Throughout the hike, you will also find informational points, viewpoints, and water sources to enhance your experience. It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, wear proper hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before heading out. Additionally, there are parking facilities available at the trailhead for your convenience.
As you approach the end of the route, you will pass by the Doppeltürmchen peak before completing the circular trail. This hike offers a mix of natural beauty, challenging terrain, and interesting landmarks, making it a rewarding outdoor experience for hikers of varying skill levels.
