Welcome to the Monte Tondo hiking route!

Located in a beautiful natural area, this moderate 4.533-kilometer long trail offers hikers a mix of stunning viewpoints, historic ruins, and natural wonders.

Starting the hike, you will find convenient parking facilities right at the trailhead. As you make your way along the path, you'll encounter the picturesque Monte Tondo peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. This peak is located around 2.21 kilometers from the starting point, making it a great spot to enjoy midway through your journey.

Continuing on, at around 2.02 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a lovely viewpoint where you can take in the beauty of the landscape. Just a short distance away, at 2.19 kilometers, you'll find the ruins of the Ex postazione mitragliera I Guerra Mondiale, adding a touch of history to your hike.

Further along the trail, at 1.23 kilometers from the beginning, there is another viewpoint offering a different perspective of the area. As you approach the end of the hike, you'll encounter the Garitta 1^ Guerra Mondiale ruins and the Fontana del Bronzo fountain, adding interesting points of interest to your journey.

Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast. The route is of moderate difficulty, with 323 meters of elevation gain, so be prepared for some uphill sections.
