This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Chemin du Bois de la Ville, offering breathtaking views and interesting points of interest along the way. The route is an out-and-back type, meaning you will be retracing your steps on the way back.
The trail starts at a convenient parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure. As you hike along, you will come across the Ancien puit à glace, an old ice well located approximately 2.51 kilometers from the starting point. This historic site used to be used for refrigeration in the past.
About 0.79 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a refreshing water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. Further along the trail, at around 1.82 kilometers from the start, you will find a non-guarded cabin called Cabane de Valespir, offering a sheltered spot to rest.
For those interested in nature and geology, there are several peaks to explore, such as Roc de Fraussa ou Roc de France at 2.07 kilometers, Roc del Pou at 0.75 kilometers, el Moixer at 1.87 kilometers, Roc de Frausa at 2.35 kilometers, and Roc del Comptador at 2.07 kilometers from the start.
