This hiking route will take you to the stunning Pic Carlit area, known for its natural beauty and challenging terrain. The trail is approximately 15.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1161 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across Estany dels Forats, a picturesque water body located about 6.6 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 7.8 kilometers, you will reach the impressive peak of Pic Carlit. The panoramic views from the summit are truly breathtaking and worth the strenuous climb.
On your way back, you can visit a waterfall located just 0.2 kilometers from the start of the trail. This refreshing sight will provide a cool respite on your return journey. It is important to note that there are several water sources along the trail, but it is always recommended to carry enough water with you.
