Welcome to the hiking route to Loskogel! This trail covers a distance of approximately 5.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 589 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. The estimated duration for this hike is 2 hours and 50 minutes.

The trail starts at Hochmuth parking area, located at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will pass by Pramesbergerrast shelter, which is around 1.89 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a quick break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing along the trail, you will encounter Winden peak at a distance of 0.93 kilometers from the start. This peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and is worth the climb. Further along, you will reach Kniekogel peak, located 2.17 kilometers from the start. This peak provides breathtaking views and a perfect photo opportunity.

As you make your way towards Loskogel peak, be sure to stop by the spring at a distance of 2.69 kilometers from the start to refill your water bottle. Additionally, there is a bench about 1.84 kilometers from the start where you can sit and rest before continuing your hike.

Loskogel peak, the final destination of this out-and-back trail, is located 2.95 kilometers from the start. Once you reach the peak, you will be rewarded with panoramic views and a sense of accomplishment.
