This challenging 11.742-kilometer circular hiking route in the area of Vivac Peña Vaqueros - Cuerda Larga offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will follow the trail towards Poza de Sócrates, a beautiful water feature located just 0.59 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, at 1.59 kilometers from the beginning, you will come across an information point providing insights about the area.
As you trek further, at 4.39 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Cabeza de Hierro Mayor, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Moving on, at 3.45 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a refreshing spring at the saddle.
Midway through the hike, at 5.37 kilometers from the start, you'll find Vivac Peña Vaqueros, a shelter where you can rest and enjoy a meal. Nearby, at 4.07 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the saddle of Collado de Peña Vaqueros, providing a picturesque spot to take in the surroundings.
