This challenging hiking route will take you to Blockfeldspitz in the beautiful alpine region. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 9.794 kilometers and an elevation gain of 787 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
Starting from the parking area, you will embark on your journey towards Blockfeldspitz. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At 2.6 kilometers from the start, you will come across Adambauerhütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. Continuing on, at 2.75 kilometers, you will reach Schönwetterhütte, another alpine hut offering a cozy rest stop for hikers.
Around the 3.86-kilometer mark, you will encounter a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle. As you make your way closer to the peak, you will pass by Gamperlstein, a notable rock formation at 4.47 kilometers from the start.
At the halfway point, approximately 4.9 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Blockfeldspitz, the ultimate destination of this trail. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the peak before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
