This extremely difficult 12.378-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Rotondo area.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Rifugio Alpe Stavello, an alpine hut located 3.16 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
As you continue on, you will reach Bocchetta di Stavello, a saddle point located 4.95 kilometers into the hike. From there, you will make your way to the peak of Monte Rotondo, which is 6.19 kilometers from the start.
Along the trail, you will also find a drinking water source at 3.18 kilometers from the beginning, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey.
With an elevation gain of 1071 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sturdy hiking boots.
