Welcome to the hiking route to Pointe des Sept Lacs! This challenging 9.757-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

Located in a beautiful natural area, this hiking route starts at a parking area, making it easily accessible for hikers. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Bergerie de Grotelle and Bergerie de Melo bars, where you can stop for a refreshing break before continuing on.

Further along the trail, you will come across the Lac de Melo and Lac de Capitello, two picturesque lakes that are perfect for a peaceful rest stop. These lakes are located 2.2 and 3.25 kilometers from the start, respectively.

As you continue your hike, you will encounter the Bocca alle Porte and Brèche de Capitello saddles, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. These saddles are located 4.56 and 3.91 kilometers from the start, respectively.

For those interested in peaks, the trail also passes by the Pointe des Sept Lacs and Punta Alle Porte peaks, located 4.88 and 4.37 kilometers from the start, respectively.

Along the way, you will also find a spring and a waterfall, perfect for rehydrating and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. These natural features are located 2.44 and 1.1 kilometers from the start, respectively.

To make the most of your hiking experience, be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out. With an elevation gain of 879 meters, this route is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
