This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with a total distance of 2.52 kilometers and an elevation gain of 217 meters. The duration of this hike is approximately 1 hour and 7 minutes, making it an easy route suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at Meiringen Amtshaus, you will pass by various points of interests along the trail. About 0.52 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the Meiringen/Kirche information point and at 0.95 kilometers, you'll reach the Alpbachfälle waterfall, a beautiful natural attraction worth a visit.

As you continue on the trail, at 1.26 kilometers, you'll find a water source for refilling your bottles. Additionally, along the way, there are several parking areas available for your convenience.

For a short break or meal, you can visit the Migros Restaurant located at the beginning of the trail. Remember to carry enough water and snacks for the hike, and check the weather forecast before setting out.

The endpoint of this out-and-back route does not have a specific destination name, but you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and various amenities available along the trail. And don't forget to take in the beautiful views at the Kaverne viewpoint at 0.95 kilometers.
