This extremely difficult 17.375-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Aquila area. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you through challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 1604 meters.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At around 3.14 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the serene Colle Vert saddle. Further along the trail, at approximately 5.23 kilometers, you'll reach the Col de Chizzagne saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
As you continue, at the 8.69-kilometer mark, you'll arrive at the majestic peak of Monte Aquila. This peak provides a perfect spot to rest and take in the breathtaking views.
