Hiking : Punta del Pizzo

This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Punta del Pizzo, located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views. The total distance of the hike is 8.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 903 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 700 meters into the hike, you will find a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at around 3 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Bocchetta di Campello, a picturesque saddle offering panoramic views of the area. Continuing on, at 4.3 kilometers, you will arrive at the highlight of the hike, Punta del Pizzo, a majestic peak that offers sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.

During your hike, you will also come across amenities such as the Ristorante Campello, where you can grab a bite to eat, as well as several springs and drinking water stations to refill your water bottle.

It's important to note that this route is an out-and-back trail, so you will be retracing your steps back to the starting point. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure.
