This hiking route at Steinscheibe - Engelschwand is a super easy trail with a total distance of 1.496 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue along the path, about halfway through, you will find the Gugel Schutzhütte shelter, a great spot to take a break and admire the surrounding nature.

Further along, at the 0.5-kilometer mark, you will find the Gugelstüble restaurant, offering refreshments and a place to rest. Nearby, there is also the Gugelturm viewpoint and Gugelschutzhütte shelter, which provide stunning views of the area.

For those interested in camping, the Jugendzeltplatz "Gugel" campsite is located approximately 0.59 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, there are informational points along the way, such as the Gugelturm and Herrischried - Gugelturm, providing insights into the local history and landmarks.

As you near the end of the trail, at around 0.75 kilometers, you will come across the Oefelstein rock formation and a wayside cross, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.
