This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Oefelstein, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.18 kilometers and an elevation gain of 40 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. About 0.4 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Oefelstein rock formation and a historic wayside cross, adding a cultural aspect to your journey.

About a third of the way into the hike, you will find the Gugel Schutzhütte shelter where you can take a break and enjoy some rest. Additionally, there is a restaurant called Gugelstüble nearby, offering a perfect spot to grab a meal or refreshments.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.33 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Gugelturm viewpoint and the Gugelschutzhütte shelter, providing excellent opportunities for panoramic views and relaxation.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach the peak of Gugel, offering a rewarding summit experience. Along the way, you will also find informative points of interest such as the Gugelturm and Herrischried - Gugelturm information spots, enriching your hike with knowledge about the area.
