This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Trail #1 Ridge Road in Pontiac. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 6.936 kilometers with an elevation gain of 135 meters, making it a moderate level hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across Blanchet Beach, a natural beach located close to the trailhead. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings before beginning your hike. Continuing along the trail, you will find several water sources throughout the route, perfect for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter informational points providing insights into the area's history and natural features. These points are great for taking a break and learning more about the trail you are exploring.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach a parking area (P13) where you can safely leave your vehicle before starting the hike. After completing the trail, you can head back to the parking area to conclude your outdoor adventure.
