Welcome to the Wandelenweg hiking route!

Wandelenweg is a moderate 5.417-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 290 meters, making it a perfect option for hikers looking for a moderate challenge with rewarding views.

As you start your journey, you'll find a convenient parking area just 6.594 meters away from the trailhead. This is a great spot to leave your car before starting the hike.

As you make your way along the trail, be sure to hydrate yourself at the drinking water station located 7.511 meters away from the trail around the 0.44-kilometer mark. Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during hikes with elevation gains.

Around the 2.25-kilometer mark, you'll reach a beautiful viewpoint at 27.093 meters from the trail. Take a moment to pause and enjoy the panoramic scenery before continuing your adventure.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.9 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across an informative spot where you can learn more about the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at the 1.36-kilometer mark, you'll find a bench where you can rest and take in the serene surroundings.

Continuing on, at around the 2.71-kilometer mark, you'll encounter another viewpoint with stunning scenic views.

Towards the end of the trail, at 1.58 kilometers into the hike, there's another bench where you can relax and soak in the beauty of the trail before heading back.
