This extremely difficult 11.062 km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima di Monsampiano.
Starting at the parking lot near Passo S.Antonio, you'll begin your journey with a gradual ascent. Along the way, you'll pass by the wayside shrine at Aune and a drinking water source for a quick refreshment stop. As you continue, you'll encounter informative signage providing insights into the area's history and natural features.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the alpine hut named Malga Bivacco Monsampiano, offering a cozy resting spot with spectacular views. Pushing onward, you'll come across several impressive rock formations, adding a sense of rugged beauty to the landscape.
The trail will then lead you to Passo del Pavione, a saddle point that marks the start of a challenging climb towards the peak. As you make your way up to Cima di Monsampiano, the elevation gain of 1367.0 meters will test your endurance and determination.
