This hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding path that provides stunning views of Rila Lakes, V. Kabul, and V. Otoivtsa. Starting at the "Най-високият" parking in Bulgaria, you will begin your journey on foot, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the alpine hut "хижа Иван Вазов" at around 4.06 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on your adventure. Further along the route, at 5.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Otoivtsa, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also pass by the shelter "Винчето 2562м" at the beginning of the trail, offering a resting place and protection from the elements. Additionally, keep an eye out for the memorial of Nestor Nestorov, located around 6.01 kilometers from the starting point.

To replenish your water supply, there are drinking water stations conveniently located at various points along the trail, such as at 0.27 kilometers and 4.06 kilometers from the start. Taking regular breaks and staying hydrated is essential, especially on this extremely difficult 12.319-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 630 meters.
