This hiking route offers a challenging adventure through the beautiful mountains of Bulgaria. The trail is an out-and-back type, taking you to the stunning viewpoints of Rila Lakes, V. Kabul, and V. Otoitsa.

Starting at the highest parking in Bulgaria, you will begin your journey at the foot of the mountains. As you ascend, you will come across the quaint alpine hut of Ivan Vazov, offering a rustic accommodation option along the way. Further along the trail, you will pass by a memorial dedicated to Nestor Nestorov, providing a glimpse into the area's historic significance.

Midway through your hike, you will reach the peak of Otoitsa, where you can soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to stop by Vincheto shelter at 2562m for a rest and some refreshments from the drinking water station nearby.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various points of interest such as a natural water source and a viewpoint overlooking the mesmerizing terrain. With a total distance of 12.319 kilometers and an elevation gain of 630 meters, this trail is extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
