This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the breathtaking area of "Auf den Wänden". With a total distance of 14.091 kilometers and an elevation gain of 928.0 meters, this challenging trail is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a quaint alpine hut called Kemptner Hütte around 6.15 kilometers from the beginning. This would be a great spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments before continuing on your journey.

As you make your way further, at around 0.48 kilometers from the start, you will find Alpe Oberau, a cozy restaurant where you can refuel and rest your weary legs.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various points of interest such as benches, historic wayside shrines like Maria am Knie, information points, and even a viewpoint to catch your breath and take in the stunning surroundings.
