Located in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty, you'll start your journey at the parking area, located at the trailhead. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as you embark on this demanding trek.

Along the way, you'll encounter several points of interest. At 0.07 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water fountain to refill your water bottles. Further ahead at 0.23 kilometers, there is a spring where you can take a refreshing break.

As you continue on the trail, you'll pass by the Laghetto di Primalunetta at 2.86 kilometers from the start, a beautiful water feature perfect for a relaxing stop. Around 6.4 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the Lago di mezzo, another scenic spot to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Midway through the hike at 6.4 kilometers, you'll find the Malga Rava di Sopra, a wilderness hut where you can rest and take shelter if needed. Additionally, there are historic ruins at 6.4 kilometers and an information point at 6.4 kilometers, providing insight into the area's heritage.

The trail also includes challenging elevation gain of 752.0 meters, so be prepared for steep inclines and rugged terrain. At 3.48 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Tombolin di Caldenave peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

For a bit of history, make sure to visit the Forcella Caldenave at 3.15 kilometers, a notable saddle along the route. As you approach the end of the hike, you'll pass by the Forcella Ravetta at 4.13 kilometers, providing a fitting end to your adventure.
