Hiking : Cima Ravetta

This challenging hiking route will take you to Cima Ravetta, a beautiful peak with stunning views. The trail spans a distance of 6.323 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of 572 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

You will start your journey from the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. As you make your way up the trail, you will come across various points of interest. At around 1.72 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply.

Further along the trail, at the 2.7 kilometer mark, you will find the Bivacco Argentino Vanin wilderness hut, a perfect spot to take a rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery. This shelter is equipped with facilities and offers a fee-based accommodation option for hikers.

As you continue your ascent, you will pass by Malga Primalunetta and Malga Primaluna di sopra shelters, providing convenient resting spots along the way. Midway through the hike, at 3.16 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Cima Ravetta, where you can soak in panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness.

Throughout the trek, be sure to stay hydrated and pack plenty of water, as well as snacks to keep your energy levels up. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before setting out, as conditions can change rapidly in mountainous terrain.

After enjoying the views from Cima Ravetta, you will retrace your steps back along the trail to the parking area, completing the out-and-back route. This hike offers a challenging but memorable experience for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the natural beauty of the area.
