This hiking route starts at Praterstern and takes you through a beautiful alpine landscape to reach the Ottohaus at the destination. The trail is a circular route, covering a distance of 10.23 kilometers with an elevation gain of 867 meters. The total duration of the hike is approximately 3 hours and 28 minutes.

As you begin your journey from Praterstern, make sure to check the weather forecast and bring an adequate supply of water. The first point of interest along the trail is the Ottohaus, located 4 kilometers away from the starting point. This alpine hut offers a cozy accommodation option along the route.

Along the way, you will also come across the Vilma-Haid-Aussicht, a scenic viewpoint offering magnificent views of the surrounding landscape, located 4 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, you will find the Benesch-Denkmal, a historic memorial located at the same distance.

For a refreshing break, you can visit the Lammelbrünnl spring, situated 2 kilometers away from the start, where you can also refill your water supply. Additionally, there are various picnic sites and benches strategically placed along the trail for hikers to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you hike towards the destination, you will encounter natural features like the Jausenstein rock, the Törlkopf peak, and the Staiger-Fenster and Teufelslucken cave entrances, each located 4 kilometers away from the starting point.

Upon reaching the Ottohaus at the end of the trail, you can relax and unwind before starting your descent back to Praterstern.
