This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Senda Piqueras. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.055 kilometers and an elevation gain of 386 meters, making it a difficult hike that offers a rewarding challenge.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. About 3.03 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Peñacovacha, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural scenery.

Continuing on, at around 3.51 kilometers, you will pass by a saddle, although it is not directly on the trail. The trail then leads you to another peak, Pico del Águila, at a distance of 2.19 kilometers from the start, providing another vantage point to admire the landscape. Additionally, you will come across the peak of Canto Hastial at approximately 2.58 kilometers from the starting point.

It is essential to bring an adequate water supply and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike due to its length and elevation gain. The duration of the hike is estimated to be around 2 hours and 35 minutes, so plan accordingly and pace yourself to fully enjoy the experience.
