Welcome to the Vollmersbergweg hiking route!

The Vollmersbergweg trail is a scenic 2.217-kilometer out-and-back route with an elevation gain of 160 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding area and is a great way to get out and enjoy nature.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the Käppelehof Hausach restaurant, located just 0.12 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a perfect spot to grab a meal or a snack before or after your hike.

About midway through the hike, at a distance of 1.11 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Hohenlochenhütte alpine hut. This is a great place to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and maybe even spend the night if you're looking for a longer adventure.

Throughout the trail, you'll also come across several points of interest such as Osterbachsattel, Über dem Osterbachtal, and Am Hohenlochen, where you can learn more about the area and its history.

It's important to bring an ample water supply, especially on warmer days, as well as snacks to keep your energy up. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before you head out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
