This hiking route is a challenging 11.02-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 328 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes to complete. The trail is located in a scenic area with various points of interest along the way.
Starting at a parking area near the trailhead, hikers will embark on their journey through the wilderness. Around 0.78 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water feature, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. As you continue along the trail, at 1.72 kilometers, you will reach the Source de la Ripelle, a spring where you can rest and replenish your water supply.
Around 2.08 kilometers into the hike, there is a cave entrance known as Cave Entrance. Further along the trail, at 2.54 kilometers, you will encounter the impressive Falaise de Tourris, ideal for climbing enthusiasts looking for a challenge. A bit further at 3.11 kilometers, another parking area is available for those wanting to explore the area.
As you approach the midway point of the hike, at 3.28 kilometers, you will find another water feature. If you are interested in exploring caves, keep an eye out for the Trou des Rois cave entrance at around 3.24 kilometers and the Aven du Roy entrance at 3.19 kilometers. Additionally, at 3.57 kilometers, you will find the Aven du Trio cave entrance, adding a sense of adventure to your hike.
Towards the latter part of the trail, at 5.48 kilometers, you will come across another water feature, offering a chance to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to take in the beautiful scenery and wildlife that the area has to offer.
