This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Granaglia area. The trail spans 12.22 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 679 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Madonna di Limano shelter, located 5.51 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, around 2.45 kilometers in, you will come across a refreshing spring, offering a perfect spot to rest and hydrate.
At the midway point, approximately 6.11 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Granaglia, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, at a distance of 5.66 kilometers, is the Foce di Granaia saddle, providing a picturesque setting for a brief stop.
On your way back, make sure to visit the wayside shrine of Madonna della Costa, situated 3.25 kilometers from the trail's origin. Additionally, there are drinking water stations along the route, such as the one located at 5.49 kilometers.
