This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Cap de Poilanèr. The trail is 11.582 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 920 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 58 minutes to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the parking area at the start of the trail. About 4.23 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Estanh de Cap deth Plan, a picturesque water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail at around 4.36 kilometers, you'll find Estanh dera Èrba, another water feature.
At a distance of 1.68 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Le chêne généreux, a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply. As you continue on, at 5.79 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the saddle at Cap de Poilanèr, offering stunning panoramic views. Nearby, you'll also find the peak of Era Entecada.
Throughout the hike, you'll come across various points of interest such as the Evadés de France 1941-1945 memorial and the Hospice de France alpine hut, providing insights into the area's history and culture.
