Hiking : Ròca dera Entecada

This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Ròca dera Entecada in a beautiful area.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the parking areas before heading towards the Estanh de Cap deth Plan, a picturesque lake located 4.23 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail at 4.36 kilometers, you'll come across the Estanh dera Èrba, another beautiful water feature but slightly off the main path.

As you continue your journey, you will encounter the Evadés de France Memorial at 0.15 kilometers, a significant historical site commemorating events from 1941-1945. Along the way, you'll also find informative signposts at 0.17 and 0.08 kilometers, providing interesting insights into the area's history and landmarks.

For accommodations, the Hospice de France is located at 0.17 kilometers into the hike, offering a comfortable place to rest. If you prefer a more rustic lodging option, the Cabane du Pesson wilderness hut is nestled 0.96 kilometers off the main trail.

The peak Era Entecada can be found 5.14 kilometers into the hike, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. The trail culminates at the Ròca dera Entecada peak, located 6.28 kilometers into the hike, where you can enjoy a sense of accomplishment and the stunning scenery.

Throughout the hike, you will also pass by points of interest such as the Le chêne généreux spring at 1.68 kilometers and the Cap de Poilanèr peak at 5.7 kilometers.

With a total distance of 12.56 kilometers and an elevation gain of 977 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for the challenging terrain.
