This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Étangs de le Fréche area. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 9.107 kilometers and an elevation gain of 683 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 48 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before heading towards the Étangs de le Fréche. Along the way, you will pass by the memorial of Evadés de France from 1941-1945, providing a glimpse into the area's historic significance.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Cabane de La Freche, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along the trail, you will reach the Cabane du Pesson, a wilderness hut that offers a rustic accommodation option for hikers looking to spend the night in the area.
