This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Punta del Mezzogiorno in the beautiful area of Liguria. The trail spans a distance of approximately 10 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1168 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take around 5 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Albergo Molino restaurant just 0.04 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can fuel up before the ascent. Further along the trail at 0.08 kilometers, you'll find the Albergo Tre Verghe d'Oro, another great spot for a rest and some refreshments.
Along the way, you'll encounter the Sorgente San Martino spring at 4.56 kilometers, perfect for refilling your water supply. Keep an eye out for the Font Lusiu spring at 2.67 kilometers, offering another opportunity to hydrate on your trek.
At around midway point, you'll reach the Colle Arpet saddle at 3.98 kilometers, providing a stunning viewpoint to catch your breath and take in the scenery. Continuing on, the Punta del Mezzogiorno peak awaits you at 5.01 kilometers, offering breathtaking panoramic views as your ultimate reward.
